When I post ads in my local CL I always post one professional/serious one and one odd/interesting one.

My last odd/interesting one went something like this:

Found Lost Guitarist

"We found this guitar player wandering up and down the Boulevard with his electric guitar over his shoulder. He seems lost, looking for a band of some sort. If anyone is missing a guitar player please respond to this ad so this poor guy can find a place to plug in!"

Now every time my pops sees an odd ad in CL he assumes it's me

Yeah, it's dead, dead, dead since COVID, and before that it was on life-support. So
many places just closed their doors. 2004-14 I could make an extra $800-$1000 a month
and played from Houghton and Higgins Lake up to Petoskey, Traverse City to Alpena, even
across the Bridge in St. Ignace. Basically, the whole tip of the Mitt was pretty active with a
decent diversity of music.

Now the only people who stay partially busy are the solo acoustic acts.

Pretty sure I don't know the guy in the ad. And no, it is not me.
