PRS SE: 20% off through Dec 31st

That’s why it’s the hardest to resist. I have until 12/31 to crack, I guess.

FWIW, I really dug the semi-hollow SE I had last year, I just couldn’t get on with the neck profile after I started playing Strats. If you’ve already got a S-style guitar, I’d venture into an area ya don’t have yet!

I guess you're just too used to holding thin/skinny things! :rofl

Have you tried anything with the Pattern Thin/Wide Thin profile? It's approaching wizard level thin (not quite that thin, but approaching seems to be the right word_

Once you go baseball bat, you don’t go back!

Probably at some point over the years, but it’s actually the opposite reason why I didn’t get on with the PRS anymore, it was too thin and I didn’t like the angles on it, felt like a V that was spread apart as far as it would go before it was no longe a V shape.

I can get on with my JEM neck because it’s a bit thicker than an average Wizard and has a killer D shape, I don’t think V shapes are for me. For any guitar I buy after that 1” neck I posted above, it’s going to have a pretty chunky neck. If I were to build another partscaster right now, it’d probably have a 1” C-shaped neck.

I may have sneaked a peek at the Swamp Ash SE. I like outlier style guitars these days
that may give me something different than the norm.

I wonder if we are going to see some heavy reductions in pricing coming up during the Holiday Season.
I am guessing PRS is not the only manufacturer with some heavy overstock problems. :idk
