Processor/Modeler/Something for live vocals?

Not sure if I got a dud or what, but can't get any sound out of the Vocal 300. Known good mic and cable. Ran it into my DAW and got nothing, then tried the headphone out and still nothing... Read the manga wondering if there was some secret sauce button to push, but nada...

Fuck me! Did the seller confirm that it worked upon shipment??

There's not much to it. Input Gain you adjust to the point of clipping
with the light. Green is good. Red is clipping. Then adjust your Master
Volume to taste.

Bummer.

I spent 30 minutes trying to get it to work. Finally messaged the seller and after a few back and forths, they sent me a return label. I then ran to Guitar Center and bought a Zoom V3 (the only vocal processor they had in stock) and it saved the day. Works really well with our practice PA and saved my throat as well.

Bummed that Barney is broken, but glad I found a solid solution.

I have thrown mine around for 20 years at this point and it
still works fine. Luck of the draw I suppose. And I'd imagine
you hate Purple anyways.

We joked about that at band practice yesterday

But, it turned on fine, the led displayed all the preset names etc. just no sound from the mic. The telling part that made me give up on it was the ground noise it put off changed dramatically if you touched the bass, mid or treble knobs. Not adjust them, just touch them.

The Zoom V3 works great, thankfully. Totally plug and play. It even has a few silly presets we screwed with. Nothing like death/doom vocals thru a helium balloon preset to let everyone know you’re super-serious about metal.
