Honestly, this is the first klon-like pedal I've had any remote interest in in ages. Mode 1 is intriguing.
It is so tiresome the degree to which new pedals have to aggressively tie themselves to...something they are not...in order to sell, though.

I’d hope so. In addition to the charge pump, that’s kind of important to the magic of the Klon.
Yeah when I read the description I thought it sounded like a klon I might actually use. It seems to address the things I never really liked about the circuit at least. I can get it done with a klon, but it’s never been the first thing I reached for.

I feel like an April Fools prank could have taken this in much funnier directions than this "actually, that makes a lot of sense" product blurb?
Like some riff on the Bonsai/Muffaletta where you can dial it to get to every not-a-klon ever made, but not have an actual Klon model in it or something?
