Peavey Prison Labour

That's been my experience with the hot rod deluxe tbh, however thinking about it the guy I bought my les Paul from had a Peavey classic 50... I think. I'm not 100% sure.

I've had a look on their site though and see they own Budda. I used to have a Budda wah but didn't realise that was peavey. It was this one

Oh I used to have one of these too btw. I loved it!! I sold it to buy a Crybaby 535Q, which I absolutely love too. But I do miss those old classic-look Budda wahs.

I've got the original bb535 too, so I've got all the Adam Jones wah toanz now!

I've got a BBE Ben wah at the minute. I loved the budda too and as per usual have no idea why I sold it. I've been through a ton of wahs and really like the BBE for 3 reasons.

1 - it looks cool
2 - it sounds great
3 -

Lots of love for Peavey. Back in 80/90s much cheaper than them big brands and more reliable. Bandits, Envoys, the power mixers with passive PA speakers and subs... Great guitars (T series). I ain't ever wanna sell my Valveking II, sounds great at any wattage (3 modes), controllable A/B. They used to be way ahead and I can only hope they are back at all segments one day.

I can't bring myself to sell my Red Stripe Bandit. Long story short, many years ago I had my entire rehearsal room contents stolen and those were much leaner times. I had 500 bucks to spend for a guitar rig and I snagged this Bandit for 150 bucks, a MIM strat for 175, a couple pedals and cables. Got me through many gigs, happily I might add. It has some great memories attached to it. I still have the MIM strat too but it has changed a lot since then. The Bandit still works like it came out of the showroom yesterday.

I remember growing up wishing I could get a 5150 II, then a 6505+. At some point I got a Peavey Rockmaster (head, which was Marshall based topology wise) with some Rocktron distortion pedals and a Laney 212 that I really liked a lot. At this point, I wouldn't own a Peavey head, cab, etc. if you gave them to me. No thanks! Overpriced and outsourced.
