Peavey 6505+ Preamp Tube Plate

Does anyone know where I can get the preamp tube backplate cover for a 6505+?

Off of a dead 6505(+).



Once upon a time when Peavey was still active in Meridian, MS you could
source replacement parts. Not so sure about now, though.

Honestly it's studio use only right now so I can probably go without it.....but I'd like to still get one

And Peavey says they don't stock them as replacement

I left mine off my 5150 for years (it didn't leave the house).

If it's like the 5150, it's just a bent piece of sheet metal with adhesive-backed foam stuck to it and a few screw holes. Wouldn't be that hard to make for someone with a few tools and skills.

Just looked behind mine. It's still off. For better heat dissipation I guess.
