Orange Dual Dark Available

Idk why they just don't reissue it. Unless this was a trial run to gauge interest

A great way to gauge interest is just to sell the fucking thing and see if people buy it. There is no need to introduce artificial scarcity into the equation. If anything just say up front it will be a short run over X months and that theyll fulfill every order placed in that time frame. At least then people interested don’t have to miss out because of something stupid like missing an IG post by an hour.

Affording to some of the employees who posted on the forums they had enough parts to do this run. How true or not that is is beyond me. But hopefully it bodes well for Orange looking into reissuing these on a full time scale. The shit thing is people already started trying to flip them for absurd prices.

Oh I totally agree. I'm just hoping for them to relaunch it and trying to make it real 🤣

A company that builds amps had just enough parts to….

build an amp?

Kick rocks Orange.

Sure if it’s specialized boards that they utilize. I’m pretty certain they’re probably not making their own PCBs in house. Transformers are a probably a non issue and are probably the same as what’s on the RVs and ORs. Faceplates could be limited too, if all they had was what they had with no intention to have more built. I don’t know their costs and breakdowns to keep things in stock. Not saying I agree with them because I don’t. I’d love to see that amp in production still and not be at the mercy of internet scalpers for something like this. Again, I don’t know their finances and what their plans are. Seeing as this sold out instantly I’d love to see more but who even knows? Being that I don’t see many of the originals in the wild I’m guessing the first models didn’t do as well as the Rockerverbs.

The Super Crush sounding so damn killer (for SS) is always what I remind myself every time these high dollar Orange high gain amps pop up.

I've had an handful of Orange amps over the years and my fave was the lowly AD30.
I don't dig the Orange breakup (much like Fender) as much as some do. Just a tad
too mushy and inarticulate to my ears. :idk

May take a flyer on this. Whispers of Ty Tabor in my ear.

I really want to get a Super Crush head and compare to the Rocker 15. Price is good new but I’d love to find a used one for $300 or less.

I dug the Super Crush I had. I was surprised how good the mid gain rock tones were, not just uber-gain stuff. Probably should have kept it if for nothing else but as a donor power amp.

I am going to chase that one for sale locally. Thanks for the very affordable push over
the cliff, @Whizzinby . :beer

Yeah it’s one of those amps where if you don’t hear with the price tag it’s a perfectly decent amp. lol It actually sold me on Orange as more than just doom/metal amps. Some really decent mid gain British rock tones if you resist the urge to dime the gain knob. It’s got some of that SS stiffness (and is finicky about boosts/drives) but I don’t discriminate, I like all amps, tube or SS. :ROFLMAO:

$200 for a Solid State Power Amp is a great deal. Bonus if it offers more than that.

And it's Orange and looks cool AF!!! :banana
