The guys in the guitar school at my college used to tell me classical guitarists were the only "real" guitarists.

I went through a classical phase a decade or so ago after discovering Andrew York. Having just gave my classical guitar to a neighborhood kid who wanted to learn to play guitar (pay it forward) you can tell how much I enjoyed being humbled by classical guitar.

The endeavor greatly improved my finger picking, but sweet jeebus does your technique, or lack there of, get exposed playing classical.

Amazing video nonetheless.
