Caught it briefly on a EytschPi42 NAMM video at Nux's booth. I don't think i've heard about this device before.

It looks dated somehow. Nux stuff is usually solid tho so maybe it works better than it looks.

I’m hoping this offers all TSAC 4K amp models. The ones offered in the firmware updates of the original AA were a nice step up. The Plexi 4K Amp models on the new Solid Studio MKII are really nice as well.

About time for a new flagship too.

This popped in my timeline today. Like all NUX stuff, it seems to sounds really good, specially for its price (~279 €).

I always thought the NUX stuff I had were pretty good bang for the buck options. This should be no different but I eventually found out if you spend a little more, you could get in the lower levels of the upper echelon products with a lot more to offer.

Honestly, in every shootout I watch on YT, the Nux units always are the worst sounding to me. That said, not only is just my opinion, actually I´ve never tried a Nux myself.

Yeah, this device uses NUX's new TSAC-4K component modelling engine. Interesting selection of pre- and power-amp emulations too, which can be mix & matched.

I gifted my neighbor my Mighty Plug Pro because he got a new telecaster and did not yet have an amp. There are times I wish I still had that thing, it was amazingly convenient. Most of the amp models were garbage but I’m honestly not sure if I had the newest 4k amps on there.

I’ve stayed clear of their products after hearing how bad those models were.

Fwiw, the OG Amp Academy is serving as the WYSIWYG clean channel on my main pedalboard. At first I thought it was a bit too much compressing, but for live, that seems to help and I'm pretty happy with it. Couldn't think of any other purposes, though.
