Got a Fender Player II 70th Anniversary Strat. Wanted one of these for a bit. MIM, 2 point trem, Pure Vintage 59 pickups. Knew it had potential at the store. Got it home and it sounds wonderful. I bought this with the intention of intentionally swapping of the pups but god damn these 59s sound good. Thankfully I have these same in pickups in another Strat so I can still swap away and not miss anything. Nebula noir has some cool red and blue sparkling in it. GC didn’t have its actual bag and bar so they grabbed me a bar and threw in a surf green wood case. Had to do some minor action adjusting but otherwise I’m happy. Next string change may go to 10-46. But otherwise I’m happy.
