One of these popped up on Reverb for not an awful price so I jumped on it. It’s heavy. Like stupid amounts of gain heavy. The saturation is so good though. It’s got some Muff similarities but it cuts a bit more lows and is tighter. Leads still sound thick and smooth. Mid control is a nice option and can really shape the sound of this thing. The octave fuzz section is cool. It sounds pretty good by itself and adds some chaos to the fuzz sound. Quality is exactly what we’ve come to expect from SUF. Matt and Ben made a great pedal here. I was thinking about a Silverblood if they did another run post Christmas (Bucket of Blood into Silverfish in the same enclosure) but this alone more than satisfies that itch. Tl;dr version: it’s a SUF Pedal for Ben of ATW and it rules. If you see one pop up used or Matt does another run of them, buy one.
