New JHS Kit Pedal Release Monday

...as am I :-). Not in need of an more rat flavors, at this time.

Wonder whether this could easily be modified. The trimpot should be exposed and the channels would deserve a footswitch.

The trimpot and channel switch look to be through hole components. Shouldn't be a big deal to desolder them and replace with an external pot and footswitch. There's plenty of room on the top of that enclosure to drill two new holes.

Dumb thing I've noticed. I am in dark mode. The top half of this text is white on black but everything from "ot and footswitch. There's plenty of room on the top of that enclosure to drill two new holes." is grey text almost matching the background. I wonder why this font color switch occurs?

That's weird. I just switched to dark mode and it's like that for me too. How odd

Same for me. It changes between the p and o in pot.

I think the person who posted it accidentally used the text color feature.

So, what would be the easiest way to get this to central Europe (namely Germany)? The resellers don't list it yet.

I remembered that a friend had ordered a pedal from Poland or somewhere similar, built by some boutique builder and his store does not ship it here to the US due to some reason. It took him about 3.5 months for the pedal to be delivered.

Just searched online and found this:

To order from a US store that doesn't ship to Germany, you can use a package forwarding service, which provides a virtual US address for you to ship your purchases. These services then ship the package to your actual address in Germany.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  1. 1. Choose a forwarding service:
Popular options include ShipToBox or MyUS.com.
  2. 2. Sign up and get a US address:
These services provide you with a physical US address that you can use as your shipping address when ordering from the US store.
  3. 3. Shop and ship to your forwarding address:
Place your order on the US store, using your provided US address for shipping.
    4. Forward your package:
The forwarding service receives your package and will then ship it to your address in Germany. You will likely be charged for the shipping cost and may be subject to import duties and taxes in Germany.
I wanna visit Paris in my lifetime if possible, I know nothing about European countries. I enjoy reading product reviews on thomann's website though (Google translate helps).

I ordered a Pedaltrain board and case from Germany on Wednesday Dispatched yesterday Probably arriving next Tuesday or Wednesday.🤞🙏
So FedX from over the pond is good speed IMO.
