I’ve been hitting it with the Bonsai 808 on ch2. Does the trick.

How do you run the Thump/Presence? You using any of the other cabs from the app?

Just middle on both, I played with a little more presence/thump on the clean to do more BF Fender but reverted back.

I'm using the Ownhammer 4x12 GNR cab, single 57 on cap edge "sweet spot". It's balanced compared to the others, although the stock cabs would cut more live.

Ok flew through a quick pass at lunch tracking with it. Just retracked the heavy bits (cleans are still an SLO) Just left the settings on the IRX as they were when I stopped playing last night, so def can be dialed in better. Also left all the eq'ing how I had it for the 5150 parts that were in it originally, so that's pulling a little bit of the top end out of the IRX, but I wasn't going to bother re eq'ing anything. Not a great reflection of the pedal but at least an idea of a 10 minute tone.

Just retracked the heavy bits (cleans are still an SLO) Just left the settings on the IRX as they were when I stopped playing last night, so def can be dialed in better. Also left all the eq'ing how I had it for the 5150 parts that were in it originally, so that's pulling a little bit of the top end out of the IRX, but I wasn't going to bother re eq'ing anything. Not a great reflection of the pedal but at least an idea of a 10 minute tone.

That sounds great! Cleans are mellow but they sound like they should be. Dirt maybe a little thicker otherwise it sounds nice! I dig how the guitar sustains into harmonics, mine does the same thing, it seems more real that way.

What is Audius? I've noticed that SoundCloud is super compressed and sounds like absolute shit and looking for a different place to load music. Yours sounds clean there!

I’d say at least this effort shows promise when I’ll have some time to spend really tweaking on it.

My old SoundCloud didn't seem so bad. I'm going to download and check that out.

Those Marshall knobs look awesome. I think I may have to find some of those. Maybe with an inverse color scheme if possible?

The really cool thing is that you can upload a 16 or 24 bit WAV file, which sounds far better than an Apple MP4 “lossless”.

Several of us just did a bunch of testing last weekend.

I noticed that too when I was bouncing files in Logic. Apples high quality files were not nearly as clear as the WAV export even at 16 bit.

Streaming is still gonna mess with that a bit… It won’t sound like what you hear directly out of logic, but it’s a hell of a lot closer.

This is why there’s only so much gain in the digitized /quantinized realm.
A human driving the kick drum
& hammering the crash symbol at

That actually drives more punch and gain
in the mix that no graph can comprehend..
The heavy hand & ‘lead’ foot of John Bonham learned me real good with that discovery,
ACDC also with that grease just behind the groove-=punch.

Again, the only place work comes before success is in the dictionary.

I always thing of Gruntruck as the first post grunge band. A lot of bands that got big in the late 90s sounded so similar.

Got to finally unbox the IRX. Switches were loose and one had completely come loose and was inside the pedal. It was easy to open up and put back and tightened up the the other two. This is my luck sometimes.

Just a quick 30 minute play direct into it no pedals or anything as all I’ve done but first impressions is… good not great. I’m still going to play with it more and try maybe some other IRs. Also got the OX Stomp so may try it with that. Again it’s good I’m just not blown away. Still good enough considering seeing where I can get it to be.
