New fender amps coming

Prices on the Princeton and Deluxe that I both bought not too long ago are 50%+ higher than when I bought them. I wish I had snagged a Super Sonic back then.

I’d personally recommend chasing down a used silverface for not much more money…and it’s a much better amp.

That works as a substitute for the Blackface amps and reissues, especially if you solder well enough to bring them to BF circuits and clean up the wiring mess, but you won’t get anything like a brownface Super starting with a SF anything without a ton of work.

Yeah that’s fair, there aren’t many of the browns and tweeds around outside the collector markets. I’d probably go for a clone at that point.

All three, tbh.

Probably fine, but personally, not tickling my fancy at all.

Choice 1: cool but hellishly expensive big-ass tube amp
Choice 2: decent enough but gimmicky looking modeling amp with a display
Choice 3: brown tolex version of a hissy "FRFR"

I guess I'm nowhere near the target group.
