New E MTB video in technical terrain

Looks like nice terrain, where at?

What are those attachments on each side of your bars? Look like some kind of bash guard for your hands?

Love MTB. Tons of trails where I live. Not a fan of E-bikes but glad they allow more people to get out and enjoy the trails.

Man, that thing had no problem climbing any of those rocks!

I miss mountain biking a lot. In my teens, if I weren't playing guitar I was out in the woods in Maine and NH trying to make my own trails. We don't have any terrain like that in Florida but there's a few spots I can certainly have some fun in. Maybe with this year's bonus I can buy one less amp/guitar and get a good bike.

Central Sierra Nv mountains in Calif. Zero crowds with Tahoe quality riding. The guards are to protect my guitar playing hands in tight spots where I could break or smash a finger on a tree or rock

Your choice is to pedal at altitude or shuttle spending an extra 2 hours in the truck -beating it to crap on gnarly rutted fire roads. also I was able to tow a buddy to the top who has an analog bike. Won't to that often but a good option. Then there is the trail experience. Punchy uphill sections or boring flat flow sections where your tired the EMTB transforms your experience. At the bottom of rides in the flats instead of barely being able to pedal you give it a 1/4 turn and bam.

The Pivot shuttle am was suggested from a friend who works in the industry who has ridden every EMTB out there and I now agree with him that the Shuttle is very similar in feel and performance to an analog high performance MT bike

How do these work? I still see you peddling occasionally. I assume you can ride it like a normal bike and then press a throttle when you want power to kick in? (Or is it assisting while you pedal too?

No throttle, pedal assist. So you have to feed it and it gives you 4 levels of power back. not just for climbing to the top, but also in flat or punchy uphill sections it is Amazing. :guiness
