They continue to release interesting utility products.
I agree, it doesn't look like it can do stereo. Perhaps @BigHairyGuitars could answer.
Amp switches are super expensive. They need loads, etc. I have this one:Very cool. Very pricey.
And it completely changed my life.

Great! Get an amp switcher and plug that thing into the cab out. Now you can use any one of your amps with the press of a single button, without having to mess around with cables, and tell me it's not awesome.
Yeah to make it stereo you'd need two of everything. It would be probably about the same as two of these.I don't believe it can do stereo. If it could, I'd buy two.
Well, I'd buy two if it could route any two amps to any two cabs, and it had 8 amp slots.
edit: yes I know that "stereo" capability in one of these units isn't just something that you can wish for and it will poof into existence, as it would require an entire routing matrix like modern pedal loop switchers have, which could be quite a bit more difficult to implement than the way things are currently done.

These start to make sense when you have a pile of amps and not as many cabs. I prefer the "match the amp and cab" approach where each amp has the "best" cab for it.
Even easier with an ABY box.Yep. For a setup where amps are always hooked up to its own cab, you could always use something like a pedal loop switcher and send the guitar to each amp through each loop’s Send jack and just ignore the Return jacks.
I don’t have the Zmacs but built a home studio rig like that using a similar switcher w/ 8 heads/power amps and four cabs and the Synergy and Fractal looped in (plus a lot of other stuff)… all the amps are MIDI controlled via their own functionality or VooDoo labs switchers. It’s pretty absurd, TBH. Changed my perspective on a number of things. The Fractal is like the brain of the whole thing. The MIDI block is cool.I just picked one up.
It's going to work well for me since I have four heads and an assortment of cabs; 4x12, 2x12, and 1x12. It will be nice to switch between amps and choose from a variety of cabs at the push of a button.
It also has relays which I've been dying for my newer Fractal gear to have and it's MIDI controllable so if I understand it correctly I'll be able to use the ZMACS' MIDI controlled relays as a means of letting my FM9 switch channels on my Sig:X when I change presets.
It will also integrate well with my Fryette PS-100. Very capable piece of gear.
