The Stadium touchscreen is phenomenal. This will have to come at it hard to match that particular experience.
That would be the one thing I miss on the Stadium. If I had to pick something? Is just the onboard experience of effortlessly tooling around on that touch screen.Stadium also has eight (!!!) parameter knobs which is amazing. I haven't used it yet but I'm sure the UI is amazing.
I had the Headrush MX5 and Gigboard and only having the touchscreen with one knob really sucked. I'm guessing the Mini QC has four rotary switch knobs which is probably workable, like the HX Stomp has three parameter knobs.
I haven’t had the stadium, but the QC does give you that experienceThat would be the one thing I miss on the Stadium. If I had to pick something? Is just the onboard experience of effortlessly tooling around on that touch screen.
Yeah from all I've heard the QC touchscreen isn't near as good. Not sure. At the end of the day; FAS sounds are where it's at; so the superficial joy of going "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH THIS IS SO FUN!" gets trumped with "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEH THIS BOOGIE MODEL HAS ME SOILING MYSELF" all day, every day.I haven’t had the stadium, but the QC does give you that experience![]()
That’s why I got my amp connected to my SuhrYeah from all I've heard the QC touchscreen isn't near as good. Not sure. I mean, it's a major update to support a significantly different hardware SKU. And three new reverbs ain't nothing, especially considering people have complained about there not having been more at launch.Damn, what a nothing burger.

Personally I don’t need any new amp models. There are plenty of good ones in there and tons of good captures. There’s not really many amp tones you can’t already get for it. YMMV4.0 news:
CorOS 4.0.0 and Cortex Control 4.0.0 are now available
This update introduces full support for Quad Cortex mini, new virtual devices, and a range of workflow and usability improvements.neuraldsp.com
My take:
- Good on them for continually adding reverbs. Definitely has been one of the weaker spots of the unit. That being said....
- The promised "ambient" reverbs from the launch announcement still are nowhere to be seen and were probably only ever just hallucinations of their copywriter and/or Doug Castro.
- They got to 4.0 - a major milestone and progress marker - and added ZERO amps? Like TINA is right there, and they still are the slowest amp modeling company in existence?!?!

Yeah, I get what you are sayingThat's fine, and I probably wouldn't personally need more either. That being said, they are the ones who made a big stink over having the fastest, most automated capability amp modeling capacity EVER.

But at this point they've had maybe one amp in the last year or more? It's been pretty weak development for sure.
You've been TINA'd!
