NDSP Quad Cortex

It would be cooler if they made one of their existing "X" plugins actually QC-compatible, as if "X" and/or "PCOM" meant anything all.

*cough(rabea)cough*
I think it's an archetype but it's not their normal release pattern imo for an archetype and the whole website being down is interesting.

I'm hopeful it's a response to the stadium....not a new hardware but maybe something interesting 😬

The only response they need to Stadium is pivoting back to aggressively prioritizing non-plugin QC content.

Start with a non-Archetype-branded synth suite and new reverbs (especially the Spring) and go from there.

The fact that this has been developed instead of X updates OR a guitar plugin is just the biggest flop imo lol

Yeah it's cool and I'm sure will be used (imo that video was very well done per usual).

Idk how it will go over with the QC crowd. Does this also count as a plugin that will be implemented in the QC?

I guess they're pushing this as a competitor to Izotope Nectar, but Nectar Standard is around the same price as Mantra and Nectar Elements is just $50. They're a pretty well-known quality.

But the world of mixing/vocal processing/effects plugins is waaaaay larger and more mature than guitar-centric plugins. Not sure they're fit to jump in this much bigger pool of competition.
