Jk Jk - different strokes
I had a busy day today but I finally checked my email and...
NDSP wrote back (that's one reply per day three days running) and provided a UPS label for shipping the unit back for repairs. With apologies for the inconvenience and no mention of any cost to me. So, provided there's no misunderstanding here, KUDOS to NDSP for making this right! (And lucky me for having a backup unit on hand - with backup presets on the cloud!)
Cautiously optimistic. More optimistic than cautious at this point! Thanks, NDSP!![]()
Music to my ears (literally)!Awesome! I'm glad they took care of you.
That's exactly what they did for me as well, out of warranty. I made a video and showed the issue and they took care of it. Maybe three weeks or so to get fixed, nothing out of pocket for me.
Alright, meat’s resting to the side for now
I’m not sure about DSP, but the transpose device is very handy for jamming. I wouldn’t use it to record but I wouldn’t use any pitch effect to record unless I “had” toSo I have a qc incoming!! Pretty pumped about it. Still love the helix and am not selling it but there's always room for more and the smaller size will be nice.
How are the pitch effects on it? Does it have more dsp than the helix? I run one main preset live and was always running into issues running out of space, especially with the poly pitch stuff.
I can't wait for Rabea to come to the QC for the robot soundsI use various octaves on momentary switches for the beeps and annoying robot sounding shit haha
The helix runs out of space once you have them and some reverbs and delays in there too, I was curious if I'll be able to get more stuff into one preset.
I was playing a lot in B using -5 on the Transpose, to great affect. So I have a qc incoming!! Pretty pumped about it. Still love the helix and am not selling it but there's always room for more and the smaller size will be nice.

I hate to say it, but this would put them on par with my last Line 6 experience?Alright, meat’s resting to the side for now, but if they drop a “We just need $395 to replace your board” it’s back on the menu permanently.
Same as on any of the full-fat Helixeseses. I thought the chips were actually identical between the QC and Helix Floor, etc., but I've since heard some people say that the QC has more DSP.A tip (it's in the manual but still) Rows 1+2 have 50% DSP and rows 3+4 have 50%. If you're making large presets that are going to eat up DSP - put half in rows 3+4.
Has there been any talk of a Stomp 2?? Or is this justI'm either getting a NDSP Nano, or a Stomp 2. If the latter exists in a week or two. But I'm not holding my breath.
It's my wishful thinking that A. there will be a new hardware announcement and B. part of it will be a Stomp Deux. But I'm not holding my breath.Has there been any talk of a Stomp 2?? Or is this just?
If it’s got more DSP, same form factor give or take it’ll definitely be on my wish list. It's my wishful thinking that A. there will be a new hardware announcement and B. part of it will be a Stomp Deux. But I'm not holding my breath.
They have to be doing something there is no way they are live streaming a bunch of guys celebrating a 10 year modelling productI'm either getting a NDSP Nano, or a Stomp 2. If the latter exists in a week or two. But I'm not holding my breath.
