The mesa sample pack sounds great!

I picked up the Dual Rec Helix Amp preset with the IR. That is all I use on the high gain stuff I play. The amp preset into the power amp to my two amps and use the IR for the send split to the board. Sounds F-ing awesome!!

I picked up some of the Tonex profiles (High Gain and Diezel Herbert) and I think they sound great.

They sound like how I would want an engineer to capture my tone in the studio - really impressed and fun to to play.

Thanks! Guitars were (I think) my PRS C22 with a JB in the bridge -> Avalon U5 -> NAM Model of my JEL (think it’s the one called Mids) -> IR. I initially started with an epiphone Cantrell LP, and pretty sure I went over them with the PRS.

There’s a bit of mix bus sauce but nothing else on the track, I try to get the tone as close as possible at the source

Quite a few new ToneX and NAM packs have gone live over the last few weeks (BadCat Lynx, VH4, Dual Rectifier MultiWatt, 5150 block letter, BE100, Uberschall Rev Green, JVM410, Jubilee 100W). VHT Pitbull ones coming next, as are some Mesa Mark III ToneX V2 models.

Out of curiosity - would anyone be interested in sending me their own DI’s for me to dial tones in with? As it stands I use a variety of different guitars and tunings (as well as cabs) to try and cover all bases. There’s still much variety beyond that and if anyone has an itch they don’t feel is quite getting scratched, i’m definitely keen to cover that ground.
