Yes the Iby is nice, also looking at the Nick Johnston HSS
I owned the black HSS NJ strat.
I didn’t end up jiving with it, which is no fault of the guitar itself, but generally speaking I think the guitar was pretty solid, and they put the money where it counts most. (Alder body, roasted maple neck, locking tuners) I think had I ended up meshing with it though I would have definitely replaced the selector and knobs, they saved some money there going with cheap’ish feeling hardware. (Understandable though given the price) It was a solid looking guitar, good playability, assuming you want a more modern feeling neck and fret radius over the trad baseball ball bat C neck of a strat.
They should also scrub the “Hey, this isn’t the Standard version!” Diamond Series logo on the headstock. IMO
