During the 77 Zep tour they played Tempe, AZ and by all accounts it was the worst performance of Bonham's career.
He'd broken his own golden rule of not getting too wasted before a show and played horridly - there's boots of it out there.....
Couple days later they played the first show of a 6 night sell out at the LA Forum. The show was bootlegged and it came out AMAZING.
First song of the set was The Song Remains the Same and Bonham came out of the gate like a Sherman tank, wanting to make up for AZ.
So cool that this guy did this. Some of the fills Bonzo adds are so freaking ridiculous.
