Line 6 Helix Stadium

It's probably the most popular M-style model in the current Helix. I'm shocked it isn't there at launch.

It was the only modded Marshall game in town on Helix for awhile, but again....I think that 3.8 Ecstasy model sounds much better and does so much more.

Don't wanna gloss over the Marshall Superbass with all channels as well as jumped channels either. That's a historic and iconic tone for real, not to mention a great blend to add clarity to modern heavy tones a la Adam Jones.

Like DI said, there was no way they were going to have enough launch amps to make everyone happy 😔

Hopefully the update process isn't super long

I think it's a great foundation for now. If I need more until the first firmware update, I just blend HX amps with those.

I'm honestly good with the current HX form of the Oblivion, GSG, Voltage, VH4, Rockerverb and PRS Archon. Those combined with the opening Agoura lineup are good for me.

Finally a jumped 103 and a super bass…

That super bass has me super curious. That’s the one thing I think is missing in fractal.

D
A lot of Fractal users have been asking for one for a long time. One issue is that despite having so many Plexis, they're all lead spec and are relatively similar. It could probably stand to just have one 100w and one 50w and it would be good enough. The Helix actually has a better variety. The Brit Trem model is supposed to be very similar to a JTM50. Hopefully there will be an Agoura version of that at some point.

I said it at the other place, but I'm fine getting by with the HX Recto for a bit.

The Mark missing is a bit of a bummer because I'm less happy with the HX versions, but I bet that hole gets plugged sooner rather than later - whether by the Proxy launch early next year or by them adding it shortly after launch.
But the hx mark and recto will be in there if you like those

Will line 6 use real amp names or those weird code names for the real amps? Fractal and fender and c use real amp names

The fm9 looks nice and I like the larger scribble strips all it needs is the stadiums 8” touchscreen

It appears to be the same as it currently is with different names, however if you look at the bottom right of the screen on the unit it seems to say "based on......" with the real name there. Also, Fractal doesn't use the real names, except in a few cases where they seem to have gotten permission.

The fm9 sure looks nice though… the larger scribble strips are nice. Now only if it had a stadium 8” touch screen layout with knobs underneath and encoders on the foot switches….

Is there any interest out there in a JCM800 2205 as a future inclusion? A much maligned amp, I know, but it's something off the beaten track and would be a point of difference

So glad to see my crunch (2203) and hi-gain (Revv Red) amps there.

Is there any great clean amp in that list? I used the Jazz Rivet and then went for the Line6 Clarity.

Mesas are sorely missed here. I hope they bring in Recto, Lonestar and Mark IV soon after release.

I'm 100% with sasha on this, "global" blocks or any other solution to the same need are a must have for those who play live.

One of the reasons I still prefer using a real amp is that I have access to amp control at any time and across all presets.

I know nothing but to me if there was new favorite list, called globals (with sub folders would be awesome) where you save all the blocks you want to be global would be enough.

Then every time you tweak a parameter in a global block Helix will automatically update it (there might be a preference for that) and every time you load a preset Helix will update all the parameters.

In order to be updated between presets blocks might be have the same same snapshot, footswiches assignment

Amp graphics on that beautiful screen don't reflect amp channel selection or jumpering!

That's unacceptable!

:rofl
