These seem to be the same clips from before on youtube - but on second listen here, gotta say that they sound excellent. A real tactileness and weight to the tones.

I don't hear anything hyped at all - which I SUPER appreciate.
Some of the 5153 clips in particular sound very cool and lively. I’m still sort of sweating that Plexi if I’m being honest. Every clip I’ve heard has been sooooo dark/wooly. I really need to get my hands on that to give it a run.

Could be knob settings / Cab on the Plexi - sounds nice to my ears that they've recorded it. But playing live - may want more edge.

Go to the focus view page and listen to the same amp. Lot more high-end and detail.

Check out the "Plexi Full" focus zone in the interactive demo part. That's pretty close to "cranked" settings and sound I've witnessed in real life with them.

Sadly, they don't seem to want to play some balls-out chords with said setting, but I assume I'll be doing it on my own.

I figured if the Hype knob was going to do anything for ANY amp, then for the Plexi it would add a gain stage and maybe some negative feedback to make it sound more like a modern "modded" one (which is how many people perceive how a stock one sounds like anyway)

I found it. Should be great once I get it in July of 26 :rofl

Thanks guys, I’ll take a look. Mark’s demo has some bright Plexi tones at the intro too so I do think they are in there.

It’s an amp I own/use and something I’ll be looking to reproduce in Stadium.

Not sure why every Superlead demo isn’t just a dude hitting an A power chord with everything on 10.

The interactive Hype and Focus demos were cool and a great way to "experience" the unit a bit before you actually buy it.

I will say the Hype demos had me scratching my head. Only differences on the vintage amps I could clearly hear between Hype at 0 and Hype at 10 were volume jumps. For the high-gainers, I heard some mid scooping to go along with the volume and presence bumps. Confirms for me that I'll likely not be using it.
I don’t know how you can really make that determination through web page or YouTube audio.

I just commented on the differences I could hear, thus my comments. Maybe there's something amazing about the feel or response when I get mine and fire it up, but the sound - thus far - is unlikely to make me want to use it.

Hmm. Still not loving the Plexi. The Deluxe also sounds strange to me, particularly on the lower right focus view zone?

Anyway, will see what’s up once I have it in hand. Maybe it’s just the phone speakers.

Looking at the listed mics in the sound samples section, it could just be cab block choices (which fwiw I actually like)

PREACH. I actually don't think they all gotta be that, but....none of them are that?!

I wanna hear some 80's Plexi goodness like Lynch, Van Halen, DeMartini, etc. If you wanna stick an midboost EQ or SD-1 in front of it and have that go into the Dynamic Plate reverb....all the better!

They certainly had no problem using boost pedals on some of the "just the amp" examples thus far. Pete Thorn used the Minotaur model in front of his SLO clip. Fluff and Javier Reyes also used either EQs and compressors or a Minotaur in front as well.
