Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

What's your load box? There might be something weird with the Suhr (???); we're gonna order one to see if there's something we need to account for.
I’m using a Reload 2 and also tested with a TAE Core - issue happens with them both, regardless of where I set the input on the Stadium or the level coming into the load box.

I'm not, but I do quite like a church or a cathedral.
You all have some great spaces there. I tracked a 7.1 project at the temple church A LONG time ago and it blew my mind.

If proxy gets to the point where we can shoot reverbs, some of us might be begging you to go on a little mission.

miah912 spoke of a Pegasus reverb sounding like a keyboard player right behind you. I would love something like that in the stadium but with control over which reflection the synth would appear in. Like a ghost in the reverb. I stumbled onto something like that when I tried a synth pedal on my 4 cable board. I was hoping to just be able to play some parts here and there but the pedal was such a tone suck in the signal chain even when bypassed, that I split the the signal through a volume pedal to a separate amp. That was a hassle and was going to pull it off the board. Last try I brought routing back into the end of the chain to the right channel of the bluesky. Something magic happened. The synth came in as ghost in the reverb, its fabulous and does not fight, wrestle or distract from the fundamental in any way. I roll the volume pedal up as I build solos into the upper register - amazing - other pedals swap but this stays on the board.

Shameless plug...

I recently added a full set of clones and presets of a Victory Sheriff 44. There's no Agoura JTM45 (yet), and the Sheriff is a GREAT sounding JTM inspired amp.

I captured it through two different cabs (Mojotone Bluesbreaker 2x12 with WGS Veteran 30 & ET65 speakers), and a Marshall 1982B JH 4x12, so you get the traditional BluesBreaker and 4x12 Marshall vibes. Plus there is a direct set of captures as well if you want to pair with a different cab. For the directs, the amp was connected to the BluesBreaker cab, so that's the load the amp was seeing. It also includes multiple sets of presets with stomps, snapshots, various signal chains, etc.

Grab it here (free): https://signaltheoryaudio.com/product/vic-shrff-presets-and-captures/

I'm super impressed with these clones - not just this amp necessarily, but all these clones and how accurate they are.

Now, back to the 'current gen' reverb talk. Personally, I really like the Shimmer verb, but set the shimmer settings so it's mostly octave down (like an anti-shimmer), and then turn the shimmer intensity almost all the way off (like 20% or less). This makes the shimmer sound more like a cloud verb. It's good.

@Digital Igloo I switched my Stadium from wifi to usb ethernet dongle but when I enter the manual DNS it seems to disappear. The windows client can still connect but the Stadium shows 'internet connectivity limited'
If I choose ethernet dhcp and auto for dns, it gives 'internet connectivity full'

BUT

when I look at the config again for ethernet, it seems to go back to dhcp and dns auto all by itself.
eg. If I pick manual IP and manual dns, enter the info, click apply, then reboot, it comes back as dhcp and auto dns.

Oh dang, definitely open a ticket so we can track that. I'm at a video shoot and can't do anything from here, unfortunately.
