Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

I kind of surprised the usual Y/T Profile/Capture seller have packs already on sale .... when clearly L6 is moving very quickly to "bed-down" Proxy's absolute and dynamic accuracy.

I get its all about money .. but use some freakin' common sense guys

Given 1.3.1 is a big part of this refinement ..... are these sellers going to re-do all the profiles in their 1.3 packs for free over the next month or 2 ...... NO I'd suggest.

Just give it 4 or 6 weeks to settle-in and then sell a much more "finished' / "refined" product.

For Sky Daddys sake, the other platforms took years to fine tune !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It'll be interesting if Proxy (and other platforms using cloud) will give the creators an option to retrain in the newest format, It will really help streamline these sorts of issues. As long as the training file remains the same then that has passed through the amp and they will have the original output, its just a matter of using the latest code/optimisations to create the end result capture.

This 1.3.1 update ironically is a whole new source signal so 1.3 stuff wouldn't have worked. But when things are a bit more stable this would be a cool thing to implement. The creators dont have to worry about re-capturing and customers can also expect a somewhat speedy update to the packs they already bought (you'd hope the sellers dont charge an update fee if things are being easily updated on their end, if they have to recapture things then thats all new work etc).

Anyway yes very early days, these are just great big picture ideas.

I’m just hoping for something similar to Kemper where users can choose from a repository of clones. I had the Kemper Player briefly and I really thought it was a well done unit and I actually really enjoyed the Kemper ecosystem. I bought the Helix Stadium because it promises similar capabilities but provides more IO and a much better interface.

I could have sworn that I heard Stadium whisper "capture me if you can" under its breath

There absolutely is “this gen” reverbs in Stadium by the way as DI has said a few times. However I would like to see bigger cloud variations to compete with Fractal.

I have about a dozen of his packs and as far as I’m aware not a single one of them has been retrained to V2 yet. Not real pleased about how that has gone and have since stopped purchasing from them.
Yeah I must admit I really like their work, and Karlis did respond to an email I sent in November saying that they needed the new website up, which would take a couple of months, before they could start on them. I appreciate there's a lot of Tonex previous they have created but by now I would have thought at least done would have been updated.

Someone was asking about the Matchless and Orange. Had a bit of time with the matchless today, put this preset in the preset thread

Now with my Orange Rockerverb MKIII... if I tits the clean channel, lower the bass, crank the treble, and then use the attenuator to bring the level down to a sensible amount, I get a really nice "Orange pretending to be a JMP" kind of thing.

But the model isn't really doing that. It's turning into a fuzzy doomer Matamp kind of sound. Kind of an odd difference.
