Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

Gotta disagree here. The old one sucked too. I had an opportunity to use both today and they’re both awful compared to literally anything else.
I dont get this. I've got a fractal AM4 in the house. The AM4 tuner works well but I have no problem tuning with the HX strobe tuner at all. I also have an analog turbo tuner that I use for setups. This forum is the only place I've heard people complain about the L6 tuner.

Yeah, I tune fine with the Stadium all day, e'ry day. I personally prefer strobe mode, but as I often let my bandmates record overdubs and basslines with it, they seem to much prefer the standard look of the tuner.

Yeah, I find strobe tuners much easier to use but some folks can't get their heads around the spinning display. I remember letting a bandmate use my Turbo Tuner and he hated it.

I'm totally at home with strobe tuner displays. I have a Peterson Strobostomp. And that tuner is MILES better than either Stadium or Helix. So is my Boss TU-3 and certainly the Fractal tuner. I have no reservations using the Fractal tuner for intonation, but I can barely rely on Stadium or Helix to even tune the instrument roughly.

I never really thought it was that great. Peterson StroboStomp HD, well, stomps it.
I have the clip on and 2 or 3 of the pedal versions. It works best for me? I don't remember the Stadium being bad and the FAS one is fine. I just like the TC the best. I have the TurboTuner but that strobe freaks me out a bit when it never settles down fully

This is the benchmark tuner for me, although I usually have a DTR-1000 in the studio in the background just for guitarists to have as something visible and easy to understand.

I’m all about strobe mode, I think it gives you way more information and useful feedback for your tuning. Lockon combines both modes nicely, and honestly there isn’t really anything else I’m aware of that displays the information so well.

LOL, the TurboTuner is definitely the best tuner you can buy...unless you are a perfectionist or have obsessive compulsive issues. A guitar can never be perfectly in tune and the TT will make sure to let you know that!
