So I know you have to point at the sign but I am sure there are some things you can say likeWe used to be a lot more transparent back when it was just Line 6, Fractal, Kemper, BOSS, DigiTech, and Atomic because we all stayed in our respective lanes, respected each other, and developed and marketed our product lines in good faith. Cliff could talk about some idea he had, and although we could sometimes accurately predict how it might manifest itself, it'd never impact the rest of our plans. Hell, we accidentally came across a photo of an AxeFX III chassis like nine (?) months before Fractal announced it. A couple of us may have zoomed in... twice? and then promptly forgot about it because we didn't want it to impact our work.
The market is very different now and a lot more cutthroat. It's also the reason why we shuttered our Line 6/Ampeg IdeaScale service—no reason to make other companies' Product Managers' jobs easier for them.
So the sign in question that I'd be pointing to would read "We can't talk about future plans," which sucks because I'm really really excited about our future plans.
This reminds me of a story: Back when I was at Roland/BOSS in the late 00s, it was common for us in Product Support to not learn about new products until a week or two before they were announced at NAMM. (US-based Product Marketing Managers would know, but they kept everything top secret.) So we'd have to learn enough to demo the new synths, grooveboxes, multitrack recorders, and guitar processors in mere days, because it'd take a good week to build that massive convention center booth.
Conversely, my very first day at Line 6 (starting as a Technical Writer), my boss invited me into a meeting where they mapped out YEARS of future Line 6 products—hardware/firmware mockups, specs, feature definition, everything. It completely broke my brain and triggered imposter syndrome, like "Why am I here? I'm not supposed to know this stuff!"
I've heard things are much different now at Roland US, but back then, lids were tight.
Yeah that's just oddAlways landscape mode on phones and tablets. I only turn portrait when an app or webpage is broken.
Sigs show in landscape mode.

I may or may not have been managing some high-priority meme deployments while overseeing operations at the local log manufacturing facility.I post from my phone obviously but it drives me nuts.
Telephone calls you say?Ha.....call me old.....I make and take calls on my phone, and surf the web on the pc..........View attachment 59952
Not for me. I don't ever see them on this forum, even when going to someone's profile.

Ha, yup......it's not that I don't text, it's just that talking on the phone and surfing on the pc doesn't require readers like the other......Telephone calls you say?
How quaint!![]()
Thanks - that's helpful!Man Agoura is fun. I was couch jamming this afternoon with the intention of setting up a preset that toggled back and forth between the Hx and Agoura 2203 to compare out of curiosity. While that was easily accomplished, I never switched back to the Hx model once I toggled over to Agoura. Oops.
For those of you that want more top end out of the Agoura 2203, try cranking the master up to 6-7 and then drop the drive down to 5. This lower drive setting will accentuate the effect of the bright cap up front and you should notice more kerrang happening. I was using the T75 4x12 with a 57 and 121.
Also - every time I load up the Agoura Rev120 Purple with a Gibson style guitar I lose hours. No idea where that time goes but I just play and play, no tweaking once I get a basic tone happening. With Hx I felt like most of my sessions devolved into chasing ghosts and trying to mask unsavory stuff.

According to AI:
I had issues with it early on that tilted my perception of it in a less than glowing direction, mostly with the heavier tones. However, there was a bug in the cab impedance modeling in that early firmware that might have contributed and I haven’t circled back to take another look since the devs (I think) patched it. I’ve also since learned that L6’s reference amp is a reissue which has different GEQ tapers than the original. That might also have contributed to my perception that something seemed off. Thanks - that's helpful!
How are you liking the mark iic+ model if you don't mind sharing? How is the bass response in particular?
No offense, but this is neither helpful nor valuable.According to AI:

No but they might be for amps that were in hx, no?Missed this in my previous response.
There's no such thing as HX Agour'ified.
The Agoura Amp Models / Channel are all a ground up totally new way of modeling that has nothing to do with how the HX Amps were modeled.
