Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

Ew. "The amp complaints" is at best overblown and at worst, reeks of let's-attempt-to-plant-a-false-narrative bad faith agenda.

"Your boos mean nothing—I've seen what makes you cheer."
Are you allowed to comment if Proxy capture sharing will be done via CustomTone , or will it be streamlined in a certain fashion ?

I don't think @MirrorProfiles and I have been doing that.
I'm guessing he's talking more about the vague YouTube comments that don't really come from any real point of perspective and just repeat whatever ideology is in their head.

The points me and you have raised have been echo'd in some degree by other Stadium users here (EOEngineer, Nathan, deadpan, banned) and some other people like Leo Gibson's SLO. I can accept if Eric thinks those opinions are overblown, suggesting any of the regulars in this forum have a false narrative bad faith agenda would be some kind of insane conspiracy theory.

I also don't think it's criticising or unfair to say that the old Legacy models often sounded very accurate, and that the new models often sound quite different to the old ones. The reason for those differences isn't totally clear yet and I think thats why there's some confusion from users with it.

@Digital Igloo My commentary about SICs was principally based on your response about how the amp chooses a default SIC.
My suggestion about being able to choose different SICs is all in a quest for accuracy.

Jon also pointed this out at 9:55 and I don't think he has any hidden ill-faith agendas ever.

Agreed , in fact he is on the Line6 team I believe he did the Factory presets for the SLO
And even he in the other 5153 thread and comparison said he felt something was off
Again this is not a man with hidden agenda

TBF - that VH-4 isn’t an Agoura model. I suspect if we do ever get adjustable SIC, it would only be on Agoura models.

Unless I'm misreading this thread, DI wasn't saying anything about SiC or @dean701 at all. His one line was a response to that one poster who has been noticeably, let's say Line 6-antagonistic.

And I actually agree that Proxy could help with "amp complaints", but not about the quality of Agoura amps....moreso the depth of their selection. In other words, since Line 6 only has 1-2 representatives of most amp "families", this would deepen their reach.

It all depends on the timing of some other big thing we're working on. If it takes too long, yeah, we may let CustomTone support Proxy clones, but then we'd have to remove it once the thing we really want is done, which might be lame, but I abhor confusing redundancy.

Nah, you guys are cool and honest critiques are always welcome. The agenda of one or two others, however, is quite transparent.
