Yesterday in another place a guy I respect mentioned the OG [divided by]13 model, which I remember liking when it first came out, but at the time I got distracted by something else. I decided to try it last night because of of the various anecdotes from people who thought the OG models/presets sound better in Stadium. I just made a copy of my Jujube preset and dropped the Divided Duo in parallel with it along with whatever the default cab/mic are. It took a little wrangling but I got it into my zone (with the Jujube turned off). I really can't say if it sounds better on Stadium than it would have on OG, but what was really kind of cool was that with both amps together in parallel gave me something I really like. I dunno if those two amps "should" go together or not, but I was in hog heaven wallowing in the not-at-all murky thickness of it. I'll try it again later because I probably had tired ears by then. In the meantime I'm itching to pair up some of the other models to see what I can come up with. Almost 9 years now in the Helix ecosystem, and that was probably the first time I ever built a preset with 2 amps. I remember downloading one from CustomTone a longish time ago, but for me it was pretty awful.
I's still having so much fun with just creating the occasional preset and playing through the stadium I still haven't even tried to do anything with Showcase, and Proxy is right around the corner assuming things go well. And even more stuff Line 6 won't even tell us about yet. I may never get caught up.

I've had the issue where you have to reboot to re-establish wifi a few times also.

Wifi is one of the few modern digital unit additions I could go without. I had issues with the QC initially and then the Stadium as well.

The forced-subscription model is one of the more egregious elements of enshittification that's affected everything from websites to commercial software.
War story follows. My Quickbooks accounting program originally cost ca. $325 back in 2013. The payroll module was (justifiably) subscription-based and added a similar amount. After a few stable years, Intuit broke the connection to the payroll module in an update, forcing customers who used the module to buy the next QB revision. Then, a few years later, they changed the software to an annual subscription and charged around $700 IIRC, while the payroll module went up as well. This year, were I to renew, payroll would be more than $900 and QB would be more than $1300, all to execute functions that the earliest version executed perfectly well for my purposes. Fortunately I've retired and won't be renewing.
Autodesk software has been subscription-only for decades now, so the trend isn't new.
The last thing I ever want is for any piece of my music gear to require a wifi connection for any purpose whatever.

It doesn't burn me that bad as i have no interest in them, but it sucks how the biggest new Stadium features (Proxy, Stem splitter) are cloud-based.
At least you can still update firmware on Stadiums through a USB cable. Some competing products (hi Neural!) won't.
Speaking of wi-fi, I just realized I can connect two separate computers to the Stadium at the same time. Which could come in handy for rearranging setlists and such, but it got me thinking: Is there anything to stop someone from connecting to the Stadium at a gig and messing with things? I guess most people don't log their Helix into the local wi-fi at a venue, so it's probably not much of a worry.

If you need to control your helix via WiFi at a gig you should bring your router like you do with digital mixers, in my opinion.
If you just need to set things up before the show, using your phone as a router would be enough.
Wouldn't they need both the Helix Stadium app and your login info to do that?
