I've been revisiting the reverbs in Helix with all the discussion on it on the Stadium - I agree with the folks here about the harshness in the high end that is hard to dial out. With my Strymon Blue Sky I can have a "bright" reverb but it is still smooth and uncongested. With HX verbs I have to roll off the higher frequencies to clean it up - so only works for darker verb sounds.
That said, I spent more time with the Heliosphere Delay and that has something else going on in the reverb algo - it has less control of the reverb but to me it has that smoother high end that just floats around the sound without getting harsh or congested. Worth a second look for those more ambient tones.
