Went back and listened to those worship hi gain clips again after listing to Kemper ToneX even Fractal clips is it just me or is there a real visceral raw sound and punch

The Agoura just seems to have more depth and detail
The 5153 blue , SLO , Bogner red and Jcm800 just sound huge

I’ll be able to compare directly in a week or so, whenever my AM4 lands, but I’m absolutely LOVING the Agoura Bogner models. They feel great and explode out of the speakers. When given a like for like model/capture I think I prefer Agoura but Tonex V2 is REALLY REALLY top of the heap right now IMO. It’s a tough call. Tonex FX are all bargain bin though.

The Agoura models are every bit as good as fractal (in my mind even better) but regardless, they sound fantastic

I did! I've had it since Saturday but didn't fire it up until Sunday.

It's a blast to use and play. Highly recommend

I wonder if the hype knob will work with proxy captures. Probably not, considering they tailor this function to the specific amp sim, but I wonder.

I don't like what the hype knob does. Seems like it adds low end and compression on the models I'm using. I don't need any more of that.

My Stadium XL finally got here just a little while ago today!

Connecting to Wi-Fi and updating was an absolute breeze. No connection or QR code issues for me. It was hella cool exploring the presets with just some headphones and listening to the built-in clips and the Info tab as the download was happening in the background.

Only had 15-20 minutes of playing time with it thus far, but it's indeed organic and great-sounding. I felt the difference immediately from the Stadium Rock Rig patch.

And yeah.....the HX amps AND effects all sound better on Stadium.

Look forward to diving in heavy in the coming days.

Yeah, I got stuck on the Bogner Ecstasy Red and the Soldano factory presets, but I had to change out the default Soldano 4x12 cab for each. Never dug it even on original Helix.

The Bogner 4x12 V30/T75 combo is waaaaay more my jam for this type of music.

Haven't even got to the Brit Megabass or 2203 yet.

I really enjoyed the EVH Blue as well. Haven't dabbled into the red yet.

Still not jiving with this Plexi...is that ghost notes that I'm hearing? Seems like it's very heavy on it when the amp is cranked.

The notes seem to go splat when you hit the strings hard. I'm liking the Helix Plexi more for now.

Have you tried lowering Hum & Ripple values?

Some plexis do get that splatty sound with everything dimed. You can hear it at times in George Metropoulos' Metroplex Mk II vids. I didn't notice it with my strat, but had it a little too much of it with one of my Les Pauls. I figured out that if I turned the presence down to 8, it went away for the most part. I don't know where you're setting the prescence, but try lowering it a bit.

Strengths:
-State of the art modeling with Agoura
-Probably the best UI ever seen in a modeler, and we're on v1.
-(Coming soon) Captures (Proxy)
-(Coming soon) Showcase (amazing and brand new feature in modelers)
-Big effects catalog
-(Coming soon) mobile app
-(Hopefully coming soon) VST version (not in any competitor device; well, somehow in Quad Cortex but not exactly the same)
-Footprint (especially the non-XL)
-Line6 well deserved good reputation for continuous updates

Weaknesses:
-Reverbs and delays (compared to competitors, not that they are bad per se)
-Fuzzes (IMHO some models could be closer to the original)

Even if they didn't address the weak points, I think competitors really need to run to remain competitive.

So this is what I’m having a hard time buying in to. With that said, mine arrives today.

I HOPE I can hear/feel a difference. I’m sure the new amps are great. I have a Gen 1 Revv 100R MKIII so I’ll compare that to the new Agoura model with the same IR’s.

I’ll also do my own test if my previous HX hardware to the legacy model in Stadium.

I’m glad I got one, I’m sure it’s excellent but no one’s tones yet have blown my tits off. Probably because the previous HX stuff still sounds really damn good.
