Line 6 Helix Stadium Talk

The graphics really do cheapen it, does not look good in the slightest. Some stylised knobs or 2D panel might have looked cooler but the weird angle graphics are whack.
Agreed , the Bogner drive me crazy it looks like a caricature of the amp w red grill blue grill
Just draw the damn wheat grill and have red an blue leds
Or Have the background be blue / red

And the angle is just off too
I agree just show the panel with the knobs and switches

Sometimes I want to to be creative and write music, and sometimes I want to really fine tune the sounds (which can also be somewhat creative?).

So for me, a great solution would be having a «simple» normal tab for the former and for the latter also an advanced tab with at least:

  1. Input bright cap value
  2. Negative feedback
  3. Depth
  4. Sag
  5. Bias

… and:

selectable SIC’s too

Yep. The Neural interface, while completely stolen from the original Helix looks so much better now.

I like Apple’s software - what don’t you like about it?
The quality has fallen off the cliff. MacOS Tahoe is a shitshow of bugs atm and probably one of their worst OS releases. The past few versions of iOS have also been a pile of crap without any features that make anything better.

I use a Mac everyday for work and there's plenty of things that bug me about it, but that's not for this thread.

I kind of like it, but wouldn't mind the wheat grill. They needed some way to differentiate from the red vs blue models, so it makes sense. I'm guessing they chose to put everything at an angle to imply that it isn't literally the real amp, just a creative example. It's probably also so that people weren't confused about why the knobs in the picture don't move when you adjust the parameters. If they were facing straight, some people might expect that. But again, they're not to be taken too literally. The Brit Megabass for example has the inputs on the left side and maroon knobs, which is obviously not what it would really have. It's not representing the exact amp, but just a creative mock up of one. Not everyone likes them, but I kind of do. I'd rather have them over nothing. I think Laxu is right that it's mainly to give some sort of background for focus view.

This is why I think the amp graphics are a waste of time here. It's not just an icon, it's some rendered amp taken at some artsy angle just to make you feel like you're looking at the amp? Lame
Yeah, I dont like it. At least have the same controls. I said it the first time I got a glimse at the pic, wonky angle, and with this amp, not the same controls :idk

I love the pic in focus mode, especially for effects. It makes the whole experience more engaging and connected. The combo of encodes just under the parameters is the best way to do; though. I’m glad they didn’t go with the switches being encoders or relying too much on the touch screen.

Oh, and didn’t they remove the hum parameter with Stadium?

I swear Apple has been using the same devs as Microslop for about the last decade. Prior, there were rarely any major bugs and just worked, lately it feels the same as anything coming out of Redmond.

Nah, Windows 11 is much worse. I don't have any issues with MacOS or iOS, but there are some oddities with it. But never comes close to the shitshow that is Win11. Complete garbage.
