Line 6 already has a marketplace where you can buy presets. I think it will be very easy for them to sell captures.Seeing Proxy is exciting, but it brings more questions how a marketplace / proxy sharing platform will work.
Really hope they go further than the NDSP process ( app is cool , but the manual sharing process when buying captures was pretty meh )
Being able to run multiple captures per path is going to be BIG fun. The way the capture process integrates with the hardware seems like it will take a lot of the guesswork out of creating high quality captures too.
We’re going to have to trade some caps. I’d love to check out your VH4.If Proxy is at least as good as QC v2 and ToneX v2, I'll be a happy camper!
Oh, I'm fine. I think right before that video some guy ran up to me, threw a camera in my face, and started shouting because Tye Trujillo (Rob Trujillo's son) was on stage at ear-splitting volume. I politely asked "can we do this after Tye's offstage? I can't hear a thing" and he got all weird and huffy and kept shouting odd questions over the din:Wow .... just a guess .... but D.I looks totally worn out.... the launch and the crap they've got all over the forums pre-1.2.1 seems to have taken a toll.
Its a new hardware product and totally new engine and modeling process and its only 60 or so days into a probable 8 - 10 lifecycle
His comment about living in a "post covid" world really encapsulates where a lot of people / consumers / buyers are at .... sadly![]()
I can see one problem. What do you call the version without the expression pedal? It looks like it will be known as "the version that is not the XL".
I’m just back from playing and recording with Nuno and Richie Kotzen, and stopped by the AVN expo…. So I totally get you.Oh, I'm fine. I think right before that video some guy ran up to me, threw a camera in my face, and started shouting because Tye Trujillo (Rob Trujillo's son) was on stage at ear-splitting volume. I politely asked "can we do this after Tye's offstage? I can't hear a thing" and he got all weird and huffy and kept shouting odd questions over the din:
"Is this a mixer?"
"Can this talk to every computer in my house?"
"Does this work with old organs?"
"Why does it have a screen?"
"Is this thing [treadle] supposed to look like an accelerator on my car?"
"Tell me all the reasons this is different than other things for guitar."
My voice was positively shot after that one. If you've never been to NAMM, it definitely attracts its fair share of those on the spectrum.
I'm hoping to capture all 6 channels of my H&K Triamp Mark 3!We’re going to have to trade some caps. I’d love to check out your VH4.
Stadium StandardThe "non-XL Stadium" does appear to be the official name.
