Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

A possible solution to this might be to allow setting the impedance on a per-effect basis and then saving that as a favorite for recall later. I’d prefer the stock behavior match the stock gear, personally.

Yeah, I would want any such change to be switchable. I think adding the option does make sense, but adding it as an option is key. That's the fun of digital rather than choosing a mod as the only option (unless it's clearly labeled as a model of a modded pedal). And while the stock behavior might be undesirable to some or even most players, that doesn't mean everyone.

Exactly, that's why what I'm suggesting is the change of the default value.

Oh, I wish I was Japanese. But only on December 16th 2025. Then back to Spanish.

Anyway, I doubt that. Or at least I would find it quite surprising if Line6 released the second device just one month after the first.

I don't expect it sooner than mid February. But I'd love to be wrong.
Who knows , it was odd they had Stadium XL showing the correct November 19th date
If they were going to attempt to get both into stores and have 1.2 with showcase and new amps ready before the Christmas break they are going to be hella busy

Without a doubt, DI & the L6 devs are in the shit right now.

If you've flip-flopped around every modeler/profiler under the sun and haven't tried Fractal; you are missing out.
I was originally going to get an Axe III when I was entertaining the stadium. I really want a unit that I can use in front of an amp (Fender Twin), but can also be used standalone for home use. Axe III seemed perfect but I got enticed by the Stadium for “ease of use”. 🤷

FM9 might be more your speed if you want to have a pedalboard type setup. The III can do this but unless you get a FC you are a little limited.

It might be more cost effective to go FM9 and yit still very much can excel as a studio option
