We do, but there's always pushback from those who think they know better.

HX Stomp was released in October of 2018. We certainly have a few ideas on what a new one might entail, but those "If TVs can get cheaper, multieffects should too!" morons in the YouTube comment section need to buy a clue. New features, new functions, faster processing, better UI/UX/GUI, better I/O, a decade-ish of inflation, AND [THING WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO DISCUSS] means there's no way in hell a Stadium Stomp would land where HX Stomp is now ($699.99). If we ever get around to it, HX Stomp would likely stick around, just like Helix Floor, Rack, and LT are.

Speaking of which, what would everyone want to see in a Stadium Stomp besides the obvious?

I recently downsized my OG Helix Floor to a Stomp XL (in that cool burgundy color you provided the excellent photo of a while back, thank you) and discovered it's really my goldilocks form factor for the most part. I use it 4CM with my Synergy rack stuff, and the Stomp controls all the presets, fx, and snapshots (switching module channels, etc) as well as a few presets that use HX amp models. That said:

a bigger screen, which mean you'd have to make the unit deeper somehow;
maybe some more knobs under said bigger screen;
I really miss the spdif i/o, so that would be a bonus for my use cases.

Other wise it's great as is - the io and switches are perfect, I make use of both loops, and the freedom to have switches assigned any way I want is awesome - give me that with the new models and proxy and I'm all over it. As soon as I have a job again... Well, maybe a few months after said job arrives...

In any case, that Stadium looked very sexy. Form-factor on these things is just right - the Floor one (non-XL) is very Glodilocks-close (QC still has the better form-factor imho but that's about it).

Can't wait to see people put these through their paces properly.

Connected to @paisleywookiee 's post: a way to switch presets (or at least modes) with your foot, without needing an external switch or midi controller, while in Stomp mode, if that makes sense.

The only thing the OG Stomp can't really do moving forward is Agoura models, right? So, enough horsepower to do so - i.e. effectively half-a-Helix™ like the original. Can't think of much that the Stomp is missing otherwise, tbh.

Either that, or maybe an upgrade to the original stomp with full Helix DSP, in a very compact form factor. Both would definitely interest me...

I’d be willing to bet most of the major distributors already have their units. Just waiting on the green light to ship them.

I think it’s a pretty safe bet at this point to say the international official launch date when the embargo is lifted and a flood of vids come out is likely November 18th

I’m hoping it includes “…and until you can get your grubby little hands on the actual unit - go here for the manual! I just fixed the last typo and hid the last Easter egg. Have fun!”

Ugh. Much to my dismay, they removed the part where I tell people stem separation won't come until the macOS/Windows app is at 2.1.5 (January). Showcase should otherwise be ready mid-December, before the holidays. (We're deep into stress-testing it right now.) So still technically fall.
