Line 6 Helix Stadium Pre-Launch Discussion

The thing about appliances is that you just go with the best ones you think and then you just live with it for 2025 years until you die or move or whatever
Modeling is different because I think technology moves a lot faster and the competition is more stiff because it’s smaller market, but like I said, if for fact did a helix Stadium interface, I think that they would probably sell a lot more and be a lot more user-friendly
100% - facts indeed!

Keen cook here too - Lacanche oven was expensive when we got it but 22 years on we’ve no need to move on.

My tonelab is in the loft though and I’m looking forward to the Stadium getting here when it’s ready :)

Looked at thermador French door 48” but compressor is on bottom and useable space was too high for wife(5”2 Asian) you had to be like 6’5” to reach top shelf in that one. The Jenair obsidian was cool but not as well made and wasn’t that much cheaper..

Dude, who ARE you?

Thermador, Wolf, Sub-Zero....you're suddenly talking all high-end appliances for your kitchen. But then you have a problem with buying a $2000 modeler because you're always second-guessing if something better is just around the corner.

You come across as an older person but then you post all these crazy Cardi B memes. I was positive you were Canadian....but now it looks like you're American.

You're an odd one Mr. Tim. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

At several times, we've discussed certain features but in the end, didn't implement them specifically because they'd trigger a massive influx of related requests that would distract us from what Helix/HX is supposed to be.

I can actually understand that perfectly. Yet, with the option to extend connections, with the touchscreen and at least some mixer tool already present, the entire thing just lends to asking for more inputs. IMO at least.

It’s like shopping for hot tubs some of the interfaces suck, but that doesn’t mean the tub is bad and vice versa but in the end, hot tubs are pretty low tech and each company has its little special thing to show off that the other company doesn’t have

Proper hot tub shopping can only be done by true connaisseurs. You know it, we know it.
