Agree completely. I think that’s where the demo fell short in spots. When he wasn’t feeling it, he had no ability to take control and dial it in to taste.
It just got caught in between being a device/feature demo and an artist showcase.
It’s not the end of the world. It was great to see the device in use for an extended period of time.
Like I said when I called this an unforced error: I don't think a product person from Line 6 should be the primary driver in any demo. Lead the artist to Focus View, and let them experience the incredibly thoughtful and intuitive UI for themselves by dragging between zones.
Demos for this product shouldn't be Ben or anyone else randomly turning knobs or randomly picking amps. The great thing about Stadium is that it makes searching for tones or inspiration way easier and more efficient. Use the next-level Search thing to find appropriate presets. If you're starting from a blank one, start with Focus Zones on whatever amp you pick and show us that. Let's see you dragging the mic around the cab appropriately too.
