The nice thing about being a card-carrying curmudgeon is that I'm not likely to be influenced by clips. It's basically a given that a big chunk of the modeling user forumites will like it, and a big chunk will hate it. For me the fastest way to answer the question was to preorder. I'll know within about a week of it arriving whether it works for me, although tbh, due to Helix's track record, It'd be a major surprise if it doesn't.

Truth. We'll be sharing a lot more information over the coming months. If it appears as if Stadium might not live up to one's expectations, it's as easy as cancelling their preorder.

For example, I'm sure there'll be someone who's upset that Proxy won't be available on day one, despite our stressing this narrative from the very beginning. All we can really do is shrug and say "sorry; next time watch our videos instead of reading YouTube and Facebook comments." There's a bunch of other stuff that won't be ready on day one either, like Expand D10, user-customizable Focus zones, user-recordable preset clips, Pedal Edit Mode, preset spillover, etc. The first Stadium editor might be more of a preset/IR/Showcase track librarian to start, which is unfortunately par for the course with these sorts of things. And I'm sure there will be bugs that we won't catch. But there are also quite a few small surprises already in there that we haven't discussed at all.

The most important thing to me is that Line 6 never deceives our customers. So we'll continue to err on the side of transparency, even if that means thousands of fewer preorders.

I’m gonna go through with it and I’m gonna try it and work with it and see what happens as I said unfortunately I jumped on the helix bandwagon when released it 10 years ago and within 30 to 45 days I just didn’t find it that great so I returned it but however, I didn’t hang on for 810 years so I’m hoping that this release will show me what the last 10 years has advanced to plus what the future holds so I think it’s a better situation now buying into the stadium
I think you guys do excellent work. I think that your company is pretty amazing and the only other company that I would look at is fractal and like a bunch of guys here owning one of each is not a bad thing if that’s how it has to be in the end.

Making reverbs is like mixing records or cooking, if you will.
The beauty comes from the sum of small details and in a well executed recipe there's a fine line between magic and very good.

Imho current Helix reverbs are very good but there's no magic yet.

user-customizable Focus zones

I think you've explained this before but what does the "user customizable" part mean? You can still drag around the focus zone right?

I hope you don’t take this personally I’m not gonna cancel my pre-order. I’m gonna go through with it and I’m gonna try it and work with it and see what happens as I said unfortunately I jumped on the helix bandwagon when released it 10 years ago and within 30 to 45 days I just didn’t find it that great so I returned it but however, I didn’t hang on for 810 years so I’m hoping that this release will show me what the last 10 years has advanced to plus what the future holds so I think it’s a better situation now buying into the stadium
I think you guys do excellent work. I think that your company is pretty amazing and the only other company that I would look at is fractal and like a bunch of guys here owning one of each is not a bad thing if that’s how it has to be in the end.

Also, I am most excited about not only the gui touchscreen, which is a long time coming for sure but I’m glad to see it. It looks well thought out and just as good if not better than Quad core/TMP/head rush as well as hopefully a really good looping on board situation, which hopefully will be more advanced and versatile than the old helix or some other modelers that have a looper in them. I only compare to head a rush because when I had their unit, the MX five I was pretty impressed with the whole looper.
The touchscreen morphing between different amps or different areas within the amps to use to morph is very cool and reminds me when I used to have a GNX four by Digitech that was like my favorite feature on that item, but I’m sure this one will be a lot more advanced, and Well thought out
Overall, I’m excited to take the leap. It’s a little more than I wanted to spend, but I did get a decent discount and I went for the full XL because I just figured why not the scribble strips are huge. I remember them on the original helix they were pretty cool, but these are going to be even better from what I’m reading as far as clarity so like everyone else I’m excited to see what comes out what advances and as I said this time around, I think I’ll have a better understanding of helix because the unit that will be released stadium will obviously encompass everything that the helix has been doing in the last 10 years so it’ll be up to speed so to speak plus it will have the new engine in it with some other amps, so at that particular point, I think if one does not jive with the helix tones in the CATM even from the get-go, I think helix is probably not for you That’s just my opinion and I may come to that result. I may not but I’m gonna give it a fair shake.

Also for digital igloo, I wanted to let you know I did buy the Yamaha TAGC3 or whatever it’s called but unfortunately, I did return it as I felt the effects in it were cool, but since I already have the FG Tran acoustic already the cutaway version I felt like this didn’t give me very much more tone wise than I was getting sure it has maybe a little bit more options with the effects and a looper and a delay, but after playing with those for a week, I realize that They’re really not enough of a variety for me in a platform like that, and the guitar itself was far too heavy and also in the end I do prefer Rosewood tone to mahogany, but it was very well made, and I really didn’t care for the plug used to charge the battery or the nonreplaceable battery situation Because I think those two points are points of failure down the road and I would’ve liked to see a USB-C or a lightning connection at least something like that, but I did get to try it and I’m glad I did and I hope that you expand the line to different sizes in different woods even into laminateback inside bodies such as the FSC or the LS series if you expanded into those with this unit, maybe at a less expensive price point it would be more welcoming to people

I think you've explained this before but what does the "user customizable" part mean? You can still drag around the focus zone right?

I can't remember where it was mentioned, but I think it means that you can save your own settings for the zones that you can morph between instead of using the factory settings.

Just like Helix, 4 mono, 2 stereo, or 2 mono +1 stereo. Nexus could conceivably expand the loop count.

No problem DI I’m probably one of the few buyers out there extremely picky and not so much critical but very leery I guess because $2000 is a lot of money to spend especially for more of a bedroom player at this point in my life, but has stated I’m willing to give it another shot and ask somebody earlier posted my ears are going to be. What’s the deciding factor more so than videos on YouTube because anybody can make those sound good but I do look forward to actual instruction videos from line 6 if those do come to show the different things you can do with the unit via the touchscreen and what they all mean and how some people could benefit from them. That would be very cool.
Also, I think this was asked, but are there going to be any kind of drum loops like real drum sounds in this thing or is that something you can add through the SD card or load into the unit because that might be kind of interesting although I wouldn’t want to be too multi feature, so it becomes the Jack of all trades in master of none if you understand what I mean
