That sounds much more reasonable lolMusiciansfriend told me Oct 22nd for the XL, FWIW.

The XL’s treadle has a toe forward switch, correct? Does this mean that it can be a volume pedal and then when you click the toe switch and it can be a Wah (or control anything else)?
My experience is with HX Stomp only.Of course.
Unless they've taken that function away, which would be pretty stupid IMO.
I never said that. I said the dynamic range on the inputs is better than that of many multi-thousand-dollar audio interfaces. Which it is, measurably. So was the Guitar Input(s) on Helix and HX products, due to a patent we still own.@Digital Igloo said in the presentation that the converters are better than interfaces costing thousands. I was just wondering about that and I’m thinking the reps are making assumptions. See, i was going to order a RME Babyface but that $1000 can go on the Helix Stadium XL.
Eventually, you'll be able to just lock the preset and have it play through whatever preset you want. Then saving the preset will assign the clip to it. Or you'll be able to browse through all presets. That sort of defeats the purpose—hearing a preset designed specifically for that clip/performance—but we'll let you do it.@Digital Igloo Will the clips that are on a preset be transferable to another preset (not just if I resave/rename?
Yes. If you add Wah (or Pitch Wham or Poly Wham) and Volume blocks, their Position parameters are automatically assigned to EXP 1 and EXP 2, respectively, and pressing the toe switch automatically toggles the bypass state of both of them. The XL’s treadle has a toe forward switch, correct? Huh? It's not so interesting when you understand that ChatGPT and other AI services are very often dead wrong. This is interesting
Perhaps. The AI oracle seems to disagree though:
"The powerful DSP engine in the Helix LT processors is called the HX Modeling engine. This engine is responsible for the authentic sound and feel of the modelled amps, cabs, and effects in the Helix LT. The Helix LT uses a dual DSP HX modeling enginefor processing power. "
"The powerful DSP engine powering the Agoura modeling in Helix Stadium processors is referred to as HX Modeling. This technology is specifically mentioned as being at the core of the Helix Stadium processors, enabling the complex algorithms of the Agoura methodology."
"While it does leverage powerful DSP and features the new Agoura™ modeling methodology, it still uses the dual DSP-powered HX modeling enginefound in previous Helix products like the Helix Floor and Helix LT.
The significant advancements in the Helix Stadium line, which includes the Helix Stadium Floor and XL Floor, are related to:
In summary, the Helix Stadium line builds upon the established Helix processing power by introducing new modeling techniques and features, rather than completely overhauling the core DSP."
- New Agoura™ modeling methodology: This is a key area of improvement, delivering enhanced sound and responsiveness.
- Performance workstation capabilities: The Helix Stadium models can function as performance workstations, offering advanced features for writing, learning, jamming, and controlling an entire stage rig.
- New features: These models introduce features like Hype control, Proxy amp/cab/effect cloning, and Showcase automation and playback engine.
- Enhanced user interface: The touch screen and improved layout contribute to a more intuitive experience.
I hope they made this pedal to do both and it’s solid and won’t cause the unit to tip to the rightOf course.

I know there’s just a lot of disinformation on the stadium out there.Huh? It's not so interesting when you understand that ChatGPT and other AI services are very often dead wrong.
Okay, enough with the understatement. You designed a keynote that made even Tim (pre)order the product you presented. A pretty impressive achievement.[…] I'm a designer who got sucked into doing a keynote because no one else would do it. […]
Well yeah, if you use AI and ChatGPTI know there’s just a lot of disinformation on the stadium out there.
This oneWell yeah, if you use AI and ChatGPTI can't really think of much disinformation. Any examples?

Is there anything that can be said at present (if the answer is no, that's fine, I'll wait--my preorder is in and won't change unless I develop a little more patience and switch from the XL preorder to a non-XL preorder) about what I'll call the DSP architecture? By that I mean, is it going to follow the basic dual signal paths each with it's own dedicated hardware powering it a la OG? And that question isn't a masked criticism of OG--I was always perfectly content with the old arrangement. Just curious about what's to come.Huh? never considered blocking you through all your "will not buy" shenanigans but if you're going to insist on copy-pasting AI slop that YOU KNOW IS GARBAGE to junk up the thread, off you go. fuck's sake, use your head.I know there’s just a lot of disinformation on the stadium out there.

I was thinking non xl and maybe switching to that instead of xl but being visual the scribble strips and having all in one pedal is a plus as is the various impedance inputsIs there anything that can be said at present (if the answer is no, that's fine, I'll wait--my preorder is in and won't change unless I develop a little more patience and switch from the XL preorder to a non-XL preorder) about what I'll call the DSP architecture? If you count AI generated texts which are always adviced not to be taken as facts by the very AI provider, and some posts here and there by people who didn't fully get a few things (which is normal and expected), instead of what Line6 has communicated so far, yes.I know there’s just a lot of disinformation on the stadium out there.
I wonder if there’s a reason why line 6 is not at least coming out with what kind of processors and stuff they’re using inside of it if it really is that much better than the helix regular just curiousIf you count AI generated texts which are always adviced not to be taken as facts by the very AI provider, and some posts here and there by people who didn't fully get a few things (which is normal and expected), instead of what Line6 has communicated so far, yes.
But you get how absurd that statement is, right?
I wonder if there's currently a reason to come out with that just because some forum user is curious about thatI wonder if there’s a reason why line 6 is not at least coming out with what kind of processors and stuff they’re using inside of it if it really is that much better than the helix regular just curious
