About a year ago SW opened a warehouse in Arizona to make shipments to the west coast faster, so most orders going to the west coast ship from there now.

Why? What is it that you'd want to see that you don't already know?

If it's amp comparison clips - they're both very close - might as well go listen to the real amp. The rest is already known.

Have you played both? That’s what I’m looking for - to hear their views on sound, how the easy it is to dial them in, “feel” of the amps etc. by A/B’ing them.

There’s no question that the helix UI is superior. Not sure about the amp models yet. Once the influencer/promoted videos die down, we’ll hopefully get some comparisons.

Well I'm on absolutely opposite side of that

So yes, next Tuesday for me oh well, I have family up this week and then a work trip Monday. Tuesday works I suppose.

SLO-100 is unexpectedly great for cleans. I discovered this haphazardly by being too lazy to add a second amp to a QC patch with a clean scene. I now preferentially use SLO for most clean patches instead of JC-120 and various Fenders.

So, I haven't seen any information on these yet:

- Patch switching lag. I know it's there but how noticeable is it?

- LED rings. Is their brightness improved over the OG Helix?

- Device latency. Important once you plan to use the loops serially.

- Audio interface latency. Horrible on the OG Helix, would like to know whether it's at least usable (say, around 6-8ms) by now.

Any words on these?

Btw, while I'm defenitely not obsessing over these things, boot time really isn't anything to write home about. Boot time of my current rigs is around 5 seconds and my Macbook Air plus a Logic project with several HXN instances in it does a cold boot faster than the Stadium.

Couldn't keep track with all the videos, so I missed it - thanks for the heads up! Much better to have knobs. And once they're in HX Edit, I think they should also make their way into HXN, where the sliders are pretty bad to deal with.
