Dear Valued Customer,
You may have seen a charge and received a shipping notification for your new Line 6 Helix Stadium XL. While we are close to the release date for Stadium XL, we did process a few orders early. Line 6 is putting the finishing touches on the final firmware and the owner’s manual that will help you make the most of your Helix Stadium XL.
Rest assured, you have not lost your place in line to be among the first to get a Helix Stadium XL but the units will be not ship until 11/18. Your order holds your unit and place in the queue, but if you wish to be refunded, please contact our Customer Service and we can assist in cancelling your order and issuing a refund.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, we can’t wait for customers to experience the new Helix Stadium XL, shipping out on 11/18.
Thank you,
It was cool when she said “And Guitar Center and our sister company Musician’s Friend are prioritizing shipments for all The Gear Forum members! Get ready!”I can’t wait to watch this. Yvette was a VERY cool choice. I love her stuff.
The touch screen looks very responsive. Dragging blocks across paths and parallel paths made me smile. This was a great video to see the patch build stuff.
Yeah they are snapshots. You get 8 per preset on the current platform. I think that’s still the same in Stadium. I use snapshots constantly but almost never more than 4 per preset. Extremely useful for preventing tap dancing. So what’s the deal with Helix “scenes”. That’s called snapshots? How many can you configure per preset, and I’m assuming it’s easy to configure the FS’s for a blend of stomp and scene control inside a preset. (Like 5 FS’s just for effects stomps and 5 for scenes etc)
I would have loved to see what’s the process for expression pedal control.

Yeah - it really looked FUN to work with "on device" which is exactly what I'm looking for. So many shortcuts so well thought out - like tapping or holding the switches. Even just tapping the switch to call up the device it's assigned to for quick editing is cool. I know many of those features are available on the OG Helix, but I've been away from it for a while, so I'm really looking forward to diving back in.Watching this in action real-time creating a preset with an artist just demonstrates how much the Stadium is going to absolutely K I L L !
Congrats @Digital Igloo and everyone at Line6 !
If you want to set the range of control, tap the parameter and slide the Min and Max nodes. To reverse expression behavior, swap the Min and Max nodes.
- Press+hold the desired parameter knob. The Learn Controller dialog appears.
- Move the expression pedal.
8 snapshots per preset.
The on/off state of all blocks is remembered per snapshot but this can be defeated per block:
However, parameter values are not remembered per snapshot by default, but this can be enabled per-parameter:
- Tap the selected block. The Action panel opens.
- Tap the Snapshot Bypass toggle off.
Command Center parameters can now be set per snapshot as well. In this case, push-turn the Command Center knob. The value turns white.
- Push-turn the parameter knob. The value turns white, indicating it's now controlled by snapshots.
