DI specifically said he didn't want to commit to updating all HX amps because they'd like to do new stuff too. And at least one HX amp - the Trainwreck Express - isn't even available to them anymore to be updated.

For effects, I think people will largely want, different effects. An updated "Plateaux reverb" wouldn't really be worth the trouble, although I do think they would do themselves a favor by exposing more parameters to make their reverbs and delays even more tweakable.

We also technically do not know which amps they will use they could be different versions like already I think the VOX is the newer CC version
So something like a Freidman could be modelled off a new more complete amp like BE DLX that has additional switches like Thump voice etc

The "update" video is just an update on what and when things are happening—mainly a repeat of the "Getting Ready For Helix Stadium" post I made on FB for those smart individuals who avoid the whole of FB like the wretched hive of scum and villainy it is. Paul Hindmarsh made an updating firmware video and that's dropping the morning of launch.

I think that they will be modeling both Voxes ... at least I hope so!

Yeah, but that isn’t a prized modern version of an AC30 by any means. I’m hoping it’s usable for my needs because that’s the one type of amp I use 98% of the time.

Oh I don't think the Stadium will shine bad at all, just that the video was awful really.

Yeah video wasn’t great. Probably why Line6 prefers a coordinated launch with planned influencer video drops vs randos using who knows what firmware and settings and recording process.

Nothing to dissuade me from experiencing it myself. I’m ready.
