I stumbled upon those Catalyst models more than anything else, but they really shouldn't be overlooked. When you get your Stadium, I think you would dig the hell out of the Oblivion. @2112 certainly did:

Did you get to spend time with the 2203 prior to purging your stomp? That’s the best L6 Marshall I’ve put my hands on.

Personally, I actually happen to prefer the Voltage. Kinda simillar but easier to deal with for me.

The L6 originals are great. I tend to stick to maybe a dozen models of circuits I know, own, or have had first hand experience. The Hx 2203 does a solid impression of my 2204, so that’s one of the places I tend to live when I’m using Helix.

Just close your eyes and pretend it says "random Marshall" in the name, because the Voltage and Kinetic are really good models IMHO.

The Marks, Recto models and JVMs are all I ever grab. I actually need to dial in a cleaner amp for the wrestle metal thing and I am dreading the process of doing it

I get it. They cover so much. For a cleaner amp that's capable of plenty of crunch too, try the Cornford MKII 50.

This is pretty much where I’m at with model requirements but swap the JVM for a plexi or 2203. Fractal really smokes L6 on those circuits for now, though the 2203 is debatable now.

Really looking forward to Agoura Mesa models because the HX ones either suffer from being half-modeled (Recto) or modeled with a single configuration (no pull switches).

Yeah I totally agree. Most of my frustration with Hx stems from the poor treatment of the Mesa amps. I know I’m not alone there and I suspect a fair number of users with similar needs have migrated to greener pastures over in fractal’s world. I migrated back to my real Recto and Marks.

I’d be a real happy camper if that experience could be improved in Stadium. I don’t need a Mark IV, or V, or VII. Just give me a IIC+ or even a III with all the channels, all the switches and I can make that fly.

Yeah, not sure why the Mesa Lonestar was modeled more completely than the Mark IV or Rectifier. It's a head scratcher.

The Lonestar is my #1 amp - it is so well modeled - 100% like you're playing the real thing (through a guitar cab)

Can't see how they'd improve on the present model in Agoura but I look forward to it!

That’s funny. I almost called out the Lonestar model as the exception because L6 legitimately nailed that model. Truth be told they also nailed the Mark IV, but just not using a configuration I’d use and unfortunately the model doesn’t have any of the configuration exposed so I can’t fix it.

My impression is that L6 also does not like that limitation and from everything I’ve seen of Agoura, they’re not compromising on authenticity, be it sonically or functionally.

Yes, I agree.

I too like the Mark IV model - it sounds and feels great. But they left a lot out in the 'configurability' as you put it. I hope that they remodel it with all the knobs and switches this time.

They're clearly aware of the grumbling. DI specifically said we wouldn't have to wait until Proxy to see some Agoura Mesa amps on Stadium. That means they're at the top of the pile and likely at least one has made it into 1.2 (would kinda be an epic troll if it were the Lonestar, but I digress).

Personally, I'm hoping that if it is in 1.2, it's one of the two that's never appeared in a Helix product before. The Mark VII would be insane because it's like 4-6 different amps in one. I wouldn't kick a Badlander out of bed either....

We're up to Mark VII now? Sheesh...they keep churning these out.

I've had only one Mark series and it was a Mark 2C+ combo - ultimately, I sold it because it was like carrying around an anvil which didn't work with my bad back.
