You'll get some lag tonight for sure. Tell us how you do.

Yep. Go ahead and cancel that preorder now.So you were talking about switching from one preset to another. There’s some lag there it’s not instantaneous and it’s worse leg than the original helix.?
I went from Helix to GT1K as well, I can’t say I find the footswitching any more complicated. I tend to pick a scheme and stick with it across presets though. Delay are always x switch with x color, drives are always x switch and x color, etc. Even with the Floor and LT I was still using the color rings more than the display to know what I was doing. One thing the switch did was point out how much I didn’t need in Helix. I’ll definitely be interested in whatever “stompium” ends up being, though. At least as long as Line 6 finds their way to input dynamics controlled parameter modulation.I'm not quite reconciling "Clearly-labeled snapshots of my own making with discreet displays are too confusing for me if I don't play them all the time" with "Tapping from preset to preset in a strictly one-way linear fashion with no labels on any effects and a small screen with undescriptive icons in a low-res layout view....now that's more like it!"

Fender ToneMaster Pro best contribution to the field. They are not implementing that same use half your DSP to do gapless switching this time DI has said that they are looking into other ways to do it not so taxing in the CPU so it is conceivable that OG Helix will have quicker switching on launch
Perhaps with occasional and abrupt interjections along the way by Orvillain.
You can pretty much make the footswitches do anything on a per-preset basis. Most of my live stuff is presets on one and two and then everything else is assigned somewhere else. And the preset number is also the tap tempo so I never forget which one I’m on, lol.I totally get that method! But the same color ring configuration is available on Helix, and you can switch between any of 8 snapshots which would give you more immediate access than 5 GT-1000 patches in a bank.
When I tried the tmp a few times the patch switching was very fastFender ToneMaster Pro best contribution to the field.
Isn’t your signal chain sort of limited to what template you load? Do they all switch the same? When I tried the tmp a few times the patch switching was very fast
For real?!He once (long ago on TOP) described a scenario where he walked into a hotub store in his swimsuit, hoping for a test drive, and in my mind's eye this always plays out as a Sasha Cohen skit.![]()
Is niceOmg. I’m going to now think Tim is an Americanized Borat.
Laughs in cheeseburger.Spoken like a proper American.![]()
Full throughput latency
This is how I remember it, anyway. It’s possible he was just carrying his swimsuit, and was incredulous to find there were no changing rooms. For real?!
Been thereI'm drunk enough to consider opening a poll to vote if people think if timbuck will keep the stadium preorder, but not drunk enough not to see that it might not be well received by moderators.
Drinking early on a Friday I see, doesn’t sound like a bad ideaI'm drunk enough to consider opening a poll to vote if people think if timbuck will keep the stadium preorder, but not drunk enough not to see that it might not be well received by moderators.
