Fwiw, I was just making a generalizing comment because you started it.

A good guitar cab is an instrument in itself and adds a level of depth and feel that you just don't get from PA speakers. It's just different with the air moving and interactivity you get with the cab. If you don't feel the need for it, no worries :)

See, I don't even disagree, but my personal experience with fullrange monitoring, while I had a kinda rough start (possibly just as anyone else), is just pretty wonderful. And IMO we could argue whether you get the same "instrument feel" from it or not. All I can say is that I just dig my stage sound more than ever before in at least 90% of all cases.

I’m not even doing live stuff anymore but yeah, the FRFR thing has been a revelation. I really dig it.

Yeah, it’s in there. I run a dual cab on my HX Stomp with one SM57 straight in and the other SM57 is at 45°. It’s a pseudo Fredman technique.

Maybe? We care less about checking all the boxes than we do continuing to focus on the amps people want us to make, whether they already exist as HX models or not. I suspect there'll be some HX amps we may never get to because other never-been-in-Helix amps are higher priority.

Is there any word on whether the Stadium's screen will have a brightness control? I'm a QC user and one thing I don't love is how bright it is at even the dimmest setting when using it on my desk at night.

I kinda get this too… I mean the screen s great from the looks of it but why all the “old helix amps and effects”? If this is a supposedly new engine?
