Question , obviously you have been doing this so long now but do you ever experience pain or discomfort in the fretting hand if you are doing too much of the wide stretch soloing ? Not when playing specifically but later in the day or at night

No but I've experienced discomfort and pain due to issues with my shoulders & hips, especially when playing standing up or sitting for extended periods of time. I tore my rotator cuff right before we did the YJM Australian tour, which I followed up by going straight into a 9 week circus season playing 7 shows a week so that required some serious managament and rehabilitation.

Certain neck shapes and the way certain guitars hang on a strap have made playing for long periods live uncomfortable at times too. I've probably done more damage to my hands by holding cooking utensils at weird angles than I have from actually playing though!

Well, on the bright side, at least you didn't almost fully tear your pec muscle and think it was a great idea to have a Hell In a Cell match for almost 25 minutes.
