Kemper Profiler MK 2

So it seems LINE6 has just recreated a modern version of the Digitech GNX4 w/NAM-like tech(which they didn't develop)
Very creative
Always a great idea to leverage someone elses intectual property. It cost less ifor development of the root processes. Just add moder switching and a touchscreen. Fish going for a shiny lure.
Honestly, they all leverage from each other to a certain degree, or steal(MIC)

This is borderline braindead. The only thing even remotely similar is the multitrack playback.

Disagree, conceptually it a workstation, just like GNX4. Obviously its new tech. It's called an analogy.. it a real word, some people understand them some don't.
And if I'm braindead it doesn't say much about your objectivy, now does it.

FYI many of us have been hoping for a next Gen GNX like device, so it will do quite well.

The NAM process has blown up the amp sim world and all the big players are trying to play catch up to something that was given to the music world for FREE!

That’s like saying a DAW and a tape machine are basically the same thing because they record audio.

Just like some people were put off by someone using a Fractal whatever being mean to them; there are folks who got turned off by some L6'r along the way. Nothing you can do and more importantly, nothing the company can do but release a product that finally speaks to the person enough to wipe those impressions away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

NOPE, I owned a GNX4, great all purpose model, work station. It was a great piece in it's day. This STATION is the evolution of the concept, not a bad thing. As I said previously, there's a marketplace for it. It would have looked less of a slight intellectual hijacking if Digitech got off their ass and kept up over the years. Too bad, the GSP1101 and RP1000 were great devices back in the day.

To everyone butt hurt by my GNX4 to Station analogy......WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!, it's accurate :grin
By no means did I say anywhere where it would be a bad product. It was originally someone elses concept, that has been abandoned. Obviously capturing did not exist when the GNX4 was around, but it was state of the art at a time for a self contained modeller, recording station.
Smart move by LINE6 filling the void.

I think if you objectively examine the two devices and tally the features you will find the new Stadium contains a good bit of proprietary design that GNX didn’t have. And I seriously doubt that at anytime in the decades of development Line 6 was floundering and saw the passing of GNX as a way to ‘make a move’.
Line 6 is a pioneer in the space not some Chinese parasite or Behringer.

Please don't summon him back lol he already scurried back to the FAS forum boasting about how he "antagonized" us 😂

Line6 was always going to improve their modelling. Adding in capturing also seemed like a no brainer. The gui, hardware and touchscreen refreshes are all welcome. The workstation stuff is just another bolt on. To reduce what they’ve done down to theyve copied some device that looks like it’s a prop off a Star Trek set is laughable. Let’s just dismiss 10-15 years of R and D with all the legacy and new things into the helix platform.

Talk about a swing and miss then running home gloating about the win that didn’t happen. Modelling loyalists can really be the worst soemtimes.
