Kemper Profiler MK 2

I think the next step for camper maybe would be cool is to do a model/go filer in the next box I mean why not right offer both in that one box with their liquid profiling and then just offer amps that are static model damps I mean, they could easily come out with as many amps as the tmp

It genuinely sounds like someone used an AI music generator overall. The tone sounds like an amp sim circa 2010, it’s pretty bad for a digital amp company announcing their next gen product in 2025.

I watched the kiesel reveal for their new guitar model and the mix around 47seconds is awesome. Obviously it’s super metal focused but the guitar tone in general is incomparable to the kemper video. The kemper tone reminds me of those arcade guitar hero games full of knock off covers

What if they switch to a web based profiling system but it only spits out Kemper compatible files (batch profiling and all future units have profile functionality)

I’ve been a Mac user since 1984. As much as I hate giving Woke-Ass Light-In-The-Loafers Tim Cook my money, I won’t buy anything else.

Yeah, that was every bit as lame as they get.
 
Wow ... this really is a tough crowd ... lot of hate-gasaming going on :)

The "new" [ if it is new ] amp Amp and IR Profiling wont be available to users for some time yet so any null testing done now *if* someone has a MK2 on hand is pure click bait.

So much hate for a product that a f*ck-tons of bands and studios at all levels have been happily using for ~14 years to tour and record with.

I get it though.

I hate NDSP, Atomic, Pro Tools, UA etc...- but am running a Dream 65 with my Stomp and, to my utter surprise, its the best Amp tones I've ever had.

People hate Helix.

People hate Boss.

Preple hate Fractal.

But this thread really strikes me as being on a whole 'nother almost pathological level - especially given no-one here has one, and its purported biggest feature wont even be implemented for probably another month or two

So you can buy a refurbed-by-Kemper Player (full warranty + 45 day return policy) for $599 and pay $278 for the Level 3 upgrade, and for $877 have the equivalent Mk2 capabilities of the $1498 Stage Mk2.

Or you can pay an extra $621 for the extra buttons, I/O, and screen on the Stage Mk2.

EDIT: I'm doubting the paper trail of the Player getting profiling capabilities based on looking at all of the inconsistencies between press and Kemper releases. So appending for $621 for profiling + extra buttons, I/O, and screen on the Stage Mk2.

The player is interesting
And first it was pay walled level 1 and Level 2
Then they gave away half of level 1 for FREE

Now Level 3 basically added
Looper
8x8 interface
8 efx blocks
Dual path

According to the release they are now automatically given everyone 16 fx slots and the 8x8 interface for FREE

So technically if you don’t care about looper you are getting a lot of extras
