The answer was Player is getting the new Profiling capability.

Again, it could easily be a play on words. I'd specifically ask "can I profile my amps"

Not accept an answer that could be interpreted as "yes you will be able to get the new profiling capability on the player" because profiling isn't new and that still can very much read as the player can play the new algorithms

Yeah, and they're now even integrating ChatGPT into Logic (latest update from today), which you need Apple Intelligens to be installed for (which I hesitated to activate so far). Instead of fixing some longstanding issues. Mega-Yuck.

I’d be fine if Apple would let you use a third party such as Grok or Chat GPT, integrated into the OS, but they lock into their ecosystem with Siri, which is absolute shit compared to what else is available.

I’ll be sappy for a second and say at a glance these threads might seem like everyone’s just dumping hot garbage in [insert company] (kempers) direction (which mildly might be true) but I find all the viewpoints pretty fascinating. It’s like bringing a new product through the gauntlet of users and it speed runs a bunch of things I hadn’t thought about from my normal pov. If a company was smart then jotting down a bunch of high level pros and cons from threads like this is pretty good information.

15 years after the OG Kemper comes out they announce a mk2….. and they use this track as a mix… the guitar tone, wow…. The palm mutes around 16seconds…. Was that recorded from a spark portable speaker? That’s one of the bigger crimes out of all of this.

mostly because I was an Apple administrator previously, but I’m a bit of an Apple fanboy. Out of about 200 MacBooks and 100 iMacs that I ordered and was responsible for managing, ONE MacBook and ONE iMac needed to get sent in for repair - this is a 4 year period where I took over the Mac job just as the M1 started rolling out. The hardware is better than the equivalently priced HPs we get and my Mac users were generally very happy with the stability of their machines.

That being said, Apple Intelligence is shit.
